Blue Ivy Carter Brings Joy To Parents But Resentment To Others

The 30-year-old singer's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, arrived via scheduled Caesarean section at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City on Saturday night.

Father complains Beyoncé's security team 'barred him from seeing premature twins in hospital's intensive care-unit' as staffers say power couple dished out $1.3MILLION for bulletproof maternity wing

-New father Neil Coulon, of Brooklyn laments: 'I know they spent $1.3million and I'm just a contractor from Bed-Stuy'

One thoughtless couple's joy brings lots of misery for others...

More money than sense. I can understand paying for a private room but to hog an entire floor is just ridiculous! Its a shame they feel the need to take control of a whole floor, thereby stopping other fathers from seeing their new borne children. What I want to know is why have they been allowed to cordon off an entire floor anyway!? What makes them treat other people like this? It's disgusting how these 'celebs' throw their weight around. They're just singers not royalty. So full of their own self importance.

They should have a maternity & hospital wing built at their house, so that they can just get on with it without disrupting other people´s lives.

The meaning of her name:
Ivy is in reference to the couple's love of the number four - roman numeral for 4 is IV
Beyoncé and Jay-Z were married on April 4, 2008

Jay-Z's birthday is December 4
Beyoncé's birthday is September 4
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have matching IV tattoos on their wedding fingers
The singer's latest album is called 4 which was her fourth solo studio album
Jay-Z has a trilogy of albums under The Blueprint banner which could have inspired his daughter's name

He has released The Blueprint, The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse and The Blueprint 3

By the way, I think Blue Ivy Carter is a very nice name. I hope she'll grow up to be a more thoughtful person than her parents are.
